Week Three Prime Time Player - Colton Chavez

One player stood out for the Lightning on Friday night. On a night that the passing game was off and the defense gave up almost 400 yards of offense to just one player. Colton Chavez's 134 yards on the ground was a lone bright spot.

Colton Chavez rushed 24 times for 134 yards for the Lightning Friday night

After three games the Legacy offense has not shown much "Lightning". The one shinning light has been the consistency of the running of Colton Chavez. Against Mountain Range in the opener Chavez ran for 95 yards on 13 carries. He followed that up with 90 yards on 24 carries against Ft. Collins, and last night he topped the century mark with 134 yards on another 24 carry night.

Congratulations Colton... Keep it up...
